Simone Patmore RVN

Simone began working part-time  at Astonlee as a ‘Junior Nursing Assistant’ whilst studying for her GSCE’s and A Levels. She began training to become a veterinary nurse in 2000 and qualified with merit in January 2004.

In 2005, Simone took on the position of head nurse. It is her responsibility to make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, and she relies on support from her ‘amazing nursing team’ to be able to do this.

Simone is currently working towards the Advanced Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing, studying via distance learning at Harper Adams University College.

Simone has a houseful of animals including her chocolate Labrador called Baz, 2 cats called Fraggle and Fidget, 2 ducks called Benny and Joon and lots of fish. She also has a gorgeous old horse called Morgan who takes up the majority of her free time.
